Lyrics
Si Yahweh ang aking pastol
'Di ako magkukulang
Pinahihimlay Niya ako sa
Luntiang pastulan
Inaakay Niya sa tahimik na batisan
Pinanunumbalik Niya aking kalakasan
Pinapatnubayan ang bawat hakbang
'Di ako nag-iisa
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Pag-ibig Mo'y walang hanggan
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Sa 'Yo ako'y mananahan
Si Yahweh ang aking pastol
Siya'ng aking kalakasan
Ang aking patnubay sa
Landas ng katuwiran
Upang ang ngalan Niya'y
Aking papurihan
Kaluwalhatian Niya ang itataas
Tungkod Niya't baston
Ay ang aking matibay
Na sanggalang
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Pag-ibig Mo'y walang hanggan
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Sa 'Yo ako'y mananahan
Dumaan man ako sa libis ng kamatayan
Takot ay walang lugar sa pusong may tiwala
Ikaw ang aking tagapagligtas
Ikaw sa akin ang lahat-lahat
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Pag-ibig Mo'y walang hanggan
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Sa 'Yo ako'y mananahan
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh
Pag-ibig Mo'y walang hanggan
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh

Meaning & Inspiration
“Yahweh” is a Tagalog confession of trust shaped closely by Psalm 23. It begins by naming Yahweh as shepherd, then follows the psalm’s images of provision, green pasture, quiet waters, restored strength, and guidance along righteous paths. The repeated assurance that the singer is not alone gives those images a personal voice. Praise rises from that confidence as God’s enduring love and the desire to dwell with Him become the central refrain.
The second half turns toward danger without abandoning trust. The valley of death is acknowledged, but fear is denied a place in a heart that relies on God. His rod and staff become firm protection, while His identity as Savior and source of everything answers the threat of the valley. Because the lyric repeatedly returns to the divine name, it frames safety, direction, and lasting residence as gifts grounded in who God is. The song is both a paraphrase of the shepherd psalm and a worshipful declaration of dependence on Yahweh.
