Lyrics

Verse 1

Teu nome estremece tudo em mim
Teu Sangue traz vida ao meu deserto
E Ele está aqui, eu sinto cheiro dEle

Verse 2

Teu nome estremece tudo em mim
Teu Sangue traz vida ao meu deserto
E Ele está aqui, eu sinto o cheiro dEle,
Jesus, eu conheço o Teu toque, Jesus
Eu conheço a Sua Voz, é Jesus
Ninguém me amou assim, Jesus
Tens o Nome sobre todos, Jesus
És o meu melhor amigo, Jesus
Incomparável És

Bridge

Chorus

Jesus, eu conheço o Teu toque, Jesus
Eu conheço a Sua Voz, é Jesus
Ninguém me amou assim, Jesus
Tens o Nome sobre todos, Jesus
És o meu melhor amigo, Jesus
Incomparável És

Chorus

Jesus, eu conheço o Teu toque, Jesus
Eu conheço a Sua Voz, é Jesus
Ninguém me amou assim, Jesus
Tens o Nome sobre todos, Jesus
És o meu melhor amigo, Jesus
Incomparável És

Chorus

Jesus, eu conheço o Teu toque, Jesus
Eu conheço a Sua Voz, é Jesus
Ninguém me amou assim, Jesus
Tens o Nome sobre todos, Jesus
És o meu melhor amigo, Jesus
Incomparável És

Meaning & Inspiration

Meu Jesus is a Portuguese-language worship song about the nearness and uniqueness of Jesus. The opening says His name shakes everything within the singer and His blood brings life to the desert, and that He is present so strongly that His presence can be sensed. The repeated refrain says the singer knows His touch and His voice, that no one has loved like Him, that His name is above every name, and that He is the best friend and beyond comparison.

The bridge declares that there is no other in heaven, sea or earth, that death could not defeat Him because He gave Himself and rose again, and that He is mighty, King of kings and Savior, with control of everything in His hands. The themes follow Philippians 2:9-11, John 10:27, Revelation 19:16 and Isaiah 43:19 on streams in the desert. The long repeated refrain makes the song easy for a congregation to take up with growing intensity.
