Meaning & Inspiration
The Mighty Hand Of God celebrates the security of salvation in Christ. The opening verse says the hand that made the heavens and the earth was held by nails on the cross to bear the sinner's curse, and that the same hand undoes the work of sin and restores lost and dying souls to victory in Him. The refrain repeats that He will never let go and the grip of God will hold.
