Lyrics

Verse 1

Verse 2

Estou diante de alguém
O glorioso Santo Deus
Autor da vida, autor do mundo
Faz e desfaz... num segundo
Vou orar, vou profetizar
Há cura aqui neste lugar
O céu irá corresponder...
Unção de Deus vai descer

Chorus

Meaning & Inspiration

This Portuguese song is built on expectation in the middle of a gathering. The opening line, "Com os olhos da fé já posso contemplar," says that victory is already visible to faith and compares it to rain falling on the room. The lines that follow list the signs of a miracle: "O cego pode ver, o mudo vai falar," and the declaration that "Hoje é dia de milagres."

The second section turns to the one being addressed, calling Him "O glorioso Santo Deus" and "Autor da vida, autor do mundo." The singer announces prayer and prophecy, and says that healing is present, that heaven will respond, and that the anointing of God will come down.

The closing lines name "Davi" and "Josué" and claim that the God who worked in their days still works in the same place today. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as confidence in what is not yet seen, Isaiah 35:5-6 describes the blind seeing and the mute speaking, and Hebrews 13:8 supports the idea that Jesus Christ does not change.
