Lyrics
Verse 1
Ah...
Chorus
Deus perdoou, pois o Seu nome é amor

Meaning & Inspiration
Voce Precisa is a Portuguese-language gospel song that speaks directly to someone who is discouraged with life. The first verse describes a person disillusioned, with nothing to do, lost in the illusion of being happy, hurt in the heart and whose dreams have faded for lack of anything to dream. It says the smile of the past is gone but that it is time for it to return.
The chorus says that the listener needs to put an end to this fear once and for all, that there is no secret to happiness, and that the answer is to surrender to Jesus. The second verse says that if the person allows it, Jesus Christ will act, God has forgiven every mistake because His name is love, the dreams have returned, and the smile is real. The themes follow Matthew 11:28, 1 John 1:9 and Psalm 30:11. The direct, encouraging wording gives the song a warm, hopeful tone.
