Sarah Elizabeth Reeves was born on April 29, 1989, in Athens, Alabama, and grew up as the daughter of musician and producer John Mark “Hershey” Reeves. She began her career in the Christian music industry after signing with Sparrow Records at age eighteen. Since then, she has worked as a singer, songwriter, and producer, writing songs for artists including Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, and Natalie Grant.
Reeves released her debut EP, Sweet Sweet Sound, in 2009, which peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. She followed with the album Broken Things in 2011 and later issued the EP Easy Never Needed You in 2018. Her catalog continued to grow with full-length albums Life Love & Madness (2020) and Best Days (2023). In 2024 she released the single “More Than Enough,” and her album State of Euphoria arrived in 2025, along with the single “Cloud Nine.”
Beyond her solo work, Reeves has seen her music placed in television series and film trailers, including Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon. She has also collaborated with electronic dance music producers such as Armin van Buuren, R3HAB, and Gattüso. In 2024 she made her feature film acting debut in the faith-based drama God’s Here, for which she also composed the soundtrack. Her work on the film earned two nominations at the 2025 International Christian Film & Music Festival.
Reeves has resided in Nashville, Tennessee, and later relocated to Fort Worth, Texas. In 2026 she received a nomination for the Mainstream Impact Award at the 14th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards, reflecting her continued presence across both faith-based and mainstream music spaces.
