About Paul Morton
Paul Sylvester Morton Sr., known as Paul S. Morton, is an American Baptist pastor, author, and gospel singer. He was born on July 30, 1950, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Morton is the founder and presiding bishop-emeritus of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. In 1993, he established the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishops and was consecrated into the episcopacy in March of that year. He served as the senior pastor of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans and later founded the Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church in Metro Atlanta in 2005. He is the father of musician PJ Morton.
Alongside his pastoral work, Morton has built a catalog of gospel recordings. His albums include Still Standing (2006), Embracing the Next Dimension (2008), and A Month of Sundays (2019). He recorded songs such as "Let It Rain," "Your Best Days Yet," "Be Blessed," "For Your Glory," and "Don't Do It Without Me."
