About Greater Vision
Greater Vision is an American Southern gospel music trio founded in 1990. The group was formed by Gerald Wolfe, Mark Trammell, and Chris Allman. Gerald Wolfe serves as the group’s pianist and emcee, and the trio has been based in Morristown, Tennessee. As of 2025, the group’s members include Gerald Wolfe, Rodney Griffin, Chris Allman, and Scott Mullens.
Over their career, Greater Vision has released more than thirty albums. Their discography includes early projects such as On A Journey (1990) and Quartets (2003), as well as more recent recordings like The Journey (2021), Christmas In London with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2023), Your Story (2024), and Go Out To The Program (2026). Among their well-known songs are “My Name Is Lazarus” and “For All He’s Done.”
Greater Vision has appeared regularly on the In Touch television program and the Gaither Homecoming Series, and they have been involved in the “Gospel Music Hymn Sing” events and video series. The group has received numerous Singing News Fan Awards, including multiple wins for Favorite Trio, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Rodney Griffin, a current member, has received multiple consecutive “Favorite Songwriter” honors from the same awards. Additionally, Christmas In London with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was named Gospel Music’s Album Of The Year by readers of Singing News magazine.
