Denno

Denno Music, the stage name of Kenyan gospel artist Dennis Karanja, has become a recognized voice in the East African Christian music scene. Born with a visual disability, he attended the Thika School for the Blind before pursuing a career in music. His music is often described as a fusion of gospel themes with African rhythms, and he has worked as both a singer and a minister.

Denno rose to prominence following the release of the song “Mbona,” a collaboration with fellow gospel artist Daddy Owen. The track helped introduce his ministry and music to a wider audience. He has since released several other songs, including “Narudi,” “Ebenezer,” and “Say Yes,” and has continued to collaborate within the Kenyan gospel industry.

Among his notable collaborations are “Story Yangu” and “Bado,” both featuring Bahati, as well as “Safari,” a duet with Eunice Njeri. Through these partnerships and his own recordings, Denno has contributed to the contemporary gospel landscape in Kenya, using his platform to share his faith and musical gifts.
