About Bryan & Katie Torwalt

Bryan and Katie Torwalt are an American husband-and-wife Christian music duo and worship leaders. The couple met in 2006 while attending the Bethel School of Supernatural Worship in Redding, California. They married in 2009 and have since served together as worship pastors. The duo has been affiliated with the Jesus Culture Music label since 2010, and they currently reside in Sacramento, California.

Their debut album, Here on Earth, was released in 2011. They followed it with Kingdom Come in 2013, Champion in 2016, the EP Praise Before My Breakthrough in 2018, the EP Anticipation in 2019, and the album I’ve Got Good News in 2022.

The Torwalts are known for writing songs for the church, including the song “Holy Spirit.” That song won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in 2016, awarded to Francesca Battistelli for her cover version. Their album Kingdom Come reached No. 5 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. Their catalog also includes the song “Miracle In The Works.”
