Lyrics
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I be afraid?
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I be afraid?
Hoshiana, hoshiana, hoshiana we will sing of Your salvation
Hoshiana, hoshiana, hoshiana we cry out for Your salvation
No other name by which we are saved but the Name of the Lord
Oh that the world will know Your Name...
That the nations will call on the Name of the Lord
The Name of Yeshua (Jesus)
Hoshiana, hoshiana, hoshiana we will sing of Your salvation
Hoshiana, hoshiana, hoshiana we cry out for Your salvation
HOSHIANA is a song of intercession for Israel and the nations
In this track, Joshua Aaron encourages the worshiper to intercede
by calling out (in Hebrew) "Hoshiana" which means, "save please".

Meaning & Inspiration
“Hoshiana (Save Please)” is shaped as a prayer for salvation. Its opening lines closely echo Psalm 27:1, naming the Lord as light and salvation and answering fear with confidence in God. The Hebrew appeal “Hoshiana” then becomes both a sung request for rescue and a declaration that salvation belongs to the Lord. Repetition gives the prayer a communal, intercessory quality without moving away from its central plea.
The song also connects that plea with the name of Yeshua and the hope that the nations will call upon the Lord. Acts 4:12 closely corresponds to the line about no other name by which salvation comes, while Romans 10:13 supports the invitation to call on the Lord’s name. These references place personal trust beside concern for Israel and the nations. The lyric therefore holds confidence and petition together: God is confessed as the source of safety, yet His saving help is still earnestly sought and proclaimed.
