About The Perrys
The Perrys formed on December 25, 1970, in Dawsonville, Georgia, as a family-based Southern gospel quartet founded by siblings Randy, Debbie, and Libbi Perry. The group transitioned to full‑time ministry in 1982. Libbi Perry Stuffle remains the sole original member still singing with the group.
The Perrys signed with Morning Star Records in the mid‑1980s. Around that same time, Tracy Stuffle joined the group as a bass singer, and he married Libbi Perry in 1987. The group is based in Tennessee.
Over the years, the Perrys have recorded a number of albums, including Into His Presence, Almost Morning, and Long, Long Road (2024). Their song catalog includes “Not Even a Stone,” “By Faith I Can Touch Him Now,” “Celebrate Me Home,” “If You Knew Him,” and “I Got Ahold of God This Morning.”
The group has received 15 Singing News Fan Awards, including Favorite Mixed Group. In 2012, they won a GMA Dove Award for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for “Celebrate Me Home.” Libbi Perry Stuffle has also been recognized as Favorite Alto of the Year multiple times.
