My view of this journey Is one of despair This morning is laden with prayer Then God's Word speaks sweetly Of a holy white city From that point I look just ahead

Lord, the moment I'm dwelling In a place with no pain A place where there's joy, peace and rest Sometimes I see nothing But sorrow and suffering Until I start looking ahead
