About Pastor Brad
Pastor Brad is the stage name of Brad Windlan, a Christian pastor and musician based in the United States who works primarily in the Christian metal and hard rock genres. He became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1987.
Windlan launched his music platform, PastorBradRocks.Net, in 2004. His discography includes instrumental “shred” guitar albums as well as vocal albums featuring a variety of guest artists from the Christian metal scene. He has also released a series of parody cover albums that re-imagine mainstream metal and hard rock songs with lyrics focused on the Gospel.
His recorded catalog includes Shred (2006), Reshredded (2007), Heavenly Shred (2008), Break Out! (2010), Storm the Gates (2016), Up (2017), Rock This World (2019), and Down & Dirty (2021). Through his music, Windlan combines his pastoral calling with a heavy metal sensibility to share his faith.
