About Nosa

Nosa, born Nosakhare Shadrack Omoregie on February 26, 1981, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, is a Nigerian gospel recording artist, singer, and songwriter. He studied engineering at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) and began his musical journey singing in his church's children's choir. His musical style incorporates elements of gospel, R&B, soul, and Afro-highlife, and he has stated his aim is to bridge musical genres while keeping the gospel message at the forefront.


Nosa released the song “Always Pray for You” in 2009, which became his breakthrough. The track won Song of the Year at the Mega Awards. In 2012, he was signed to the record label Chocolate City. The following year, he was honored as African Artist of the Year at the Touch Music Awards in 2014. That same year, he released his album Open Doors.


His catalog includes songs such as “Why You Love Me,” “Always on My Mind,” “Most High” featuring Nathaniel Bassey, “Na Your Way” featuring Mairo Ese, “We Raise a Sound,” and “God Bless Nigeria.” In 2020, he founded his own record label, Salt Music, marking a new chapter in his career as an independent artist.
