Melody Noel

Melody Noel Hernandez is a Christian singer-songwriter and a founder of the worship collective Influence Music. She was born into a family of mariachi musicians spanning seven generations and became the first to pursue a genre outside of Mexican folk music. She attended NYU’s Clive Davis School of Recorded Music and graduated in 2014.

She began her career in the music industry in 2012 after signing a publishing deal with Imagem Music. Before focusing on Christian music, she worked as a songwriter in pop music, co-writing the 2016 single “Love Make the World Go Round” for Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda. That song reached number 72 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 9 on the Digital Songs chart.

Noel pivoted to the Christian music genre and established Influence Music in 2017. Her work with the collective includes the 2018 album Touching Heaven, which reached number two on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart. The Influence Music single “Mistakes” appeared on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart for twenty weeks.

She released her official solo Christian debut EP, Back to Praise, in 2025.
