About Love And The Outcome
Love and the Outcome is a husband-and-wife duo in contemporary Christian music, consisting of Jodi King on vocals, keys, and percussion and Chris Rademaker on bass guitar and vocals. The couple, who have been married since December 2003, officially formed the duo on July 7, 2012, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and signed with the Christian label Word Records. Their music blends pop and rock influences with a mix of worship, praise, and declaration.
Before Love and the Outcome, Jodi King released a solo album titled Little Smile in 2010. The duo’s self-titled debut album, Love & The Outcome, arrived in 2013 and included the songs “He Is With Us” and “King of My Heart.” They followed with the album These Are The Days in 2016, featuring the single “The God I Know.” The duo also released the EP You Got This in 2020, and Jodi King authored a book of the same title that year. Later albums include Only Ever Always (2022) and Sparrow (2026). Love and the Outcome have toured extensively, including appearances on the Winter Jam Tour.
The duo received early recognition with a 2013 GMA Canada Covenant Award for New Artist of the Year and a Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year in 2014. Their songs have also performed well on the charts: “The God I Know” peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Christian Songs chart, and “He Is With Us” reached No. 5 on the same chart.
