Kathy Praise

Kathy Praise is a Kenyan gospel artist, songwriter, and worship leader who identifies as a born-again Christian. Her journey in music began early; she started singing in church choirs at the age of five. This early foundation in congregational worship would shape her calling for years to come.

After completing a Diploma in Insurance at the Kenya College of Insurance in 2009, Kathy Praise worked in insurance sales. She used the income from that job to fund her early music recordings, demonstrating her dedication to ministry even before it became her primary focus. Her debut album, Nang'a, features ten songs and marked her formal entry into the gospel music scene.

Kathy Praise serves as a worship leader at Liberty Christian Centre Church, a role that keeps her rooted in local ministry. Her recorded catalog includes songs such as “Usikiaye Maombi,” “Hakuna Kama Wewe,” “HESHIMA UTUKUFU (Live),” “Unaweza,” “Ebenezer,” and “The Name Of Jesus,” along with the album Worship His Majesty. She is also married and a mother, balancing family life with her music and worship leadership.
