About Jason Upton
Jason Upton is a contemporary worship music singer, songwriter, and recording artist known for a folk-inspired musical style. He was born on December 15, 1973, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was adopted by a Christian family in March 1974. Upton’s work is often described as having the heart of a pastor, and his songs reflect a deeply pastoral approach to worship.
Upton founded and operates Key of David Ministries, through which he releases much of his music. His recordings frequently feature spontaneous songs, instrumental spontaneity, and spoken word elements, setting his work apart within the contemporary worship genre.
His discography includes the albums Key of David (2000), Faith (2001), Jacob’s Dream (2002), Dying Star (2002), Remember (2003), Trusting the Angels (2004), Between Earth and Sky (2007), and God Finds Us.
