About Freke Umoh
Freke Umoh is a Nigerian gospel musician, worship leader, and pastor. He hails from Akwa Ibom State and spent his formative years in Calabar. He holds a bachelor’s degree in estate management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His musical career began as a member of his church choir, a foundation that has shaped his ministry.
Umoh serves as an associate pastor at Victory Christian Fellowship in New Castle, Delaware, where his worship leadership informs his recording work. His music blends contemporary gospel with highlife and Afro-pop, creating a sound that connects traditional African worship with modern expression.
His recorded work includes the album “Open Heavens” (2012), the EP “VERSES, Vol. 2” (2025), and singles such as “Ibuchukwu” (2006), “Hallelujah No Go Finish” (2019), “Accepted,” “Responsible,” “Ibaha,” and “No Way (Live in Uyo)” (2023). These releases reflect his development as a songwriter and worship minister.
Umoh is married to Dr. Glory Freke, and together they have children. His life and ministry remain centered on his calling as a gospel artist and a pastor serving both in Nigeria and the United States.
