Ephraim Sekeleti

Ephraim Sekeleti Mutalange is a Zambian gospel singer, songwriter, and performer known for praise and worship music. Born in Kalulushi, Zambia, he has been active in the music industry for more than fifteen years. He also performs under the stage names “Son of Africa” and “Ephraim The Son of Africa.” A multi-lingual artist, he sings in Bemba, Swahili, and English, reflecting the diverse audience he reaches through his music.

His discography includes several albums and individual songs. Among his early releases is the album “Miracle Child” (2001); later he released “Fixing My Eyes” (2013). Songs in his catalog include “Limo Ndanaka,” “Lesa Talekelesha,” “Mungu Mwenyewe,” “Favor Is My Name,” “Acha Kulia,” and “Lekeni Iloke.”

Sekeleti has described his collaborations with secular artists as a form of evangelism, stating that his intent is to lead those artists to Christ. In 2019, he was nominated for the Most Outstanding Male Musician award at the Ngoma Awards in Zambia, a national recognition of his work in gospel music.
