Eliya Mwantondo

Eliya Mwantondo is a Christian music artist and performer from Tanzania, often referred to as Minister Eliya Mwantondo in his official music video releases. His musical style is described as a fusion of traditional gospel music with contemporary sounds, placing him within the East African worship music scene.

Since 2019, Mwantondo has built a recorded catalog that includes early singles such as "Haja ya Moyo" (2019), "Adui hana nafasi" (2019), and "Hakuna Kama Wewe" (2020). In 2025 he released the full-length album "Overflowing Grace," followed by the EP "Shekinah Glory Ep." in 2026. That same year, he released the singles "YESU" featuring Eva Doxa and Dorcas Simon, as well as "Ni Wewe" featuring Jastin Asifiwe.

Mwantondo has collaborated with a number of artists in the East African gospel music scene, including Agape Gospel Band, Henrick Mruma, and Boaz Danken. Through these partnerships and his own releases, he continues to contribute to the region’s gospel music landscape.
