Derick Marton

Derick Marton is a Tanzanian musician recognized for his work in the Christian and Gospel music genres. His music is described as a blend of modern Christian music and traditional African rhythms. As a songwriter and performer, he has built a career centered on expressing his Christian faith through a sound that reflects both his cultural heritage and contemporary worship influences.

Marton has collaborated with several artists in the Tanzanian gospel scene, including Bella Kombo and Paul Clement. In 2024, he released the EP For My Good and the album Sentensi. That same year, he also released the single “Neno Lako.” His catalog includes the song “Huyo Ni Yesu,” featuring Bella Kombo, as well as the collaborative track “Nakutegemea Wewe” with Paul Clement.

Additional releases in Marton’s catalog include the songs “Peke Yako” and “Inawezekanaje?”. In 2023, he released the EP Farao Nimeokoka, further establishing his presence in Tanzanian gospel music.
