Brooke Ligertwood is a New Zealand-born singer, songwriter, producer, and worship leader. She is widely known for her long-standing tenure as a member and leader within the Hillsong Worship collective. Before stepping into this role, she maintained a mainstream music career for nearly two decades under her maiden name, Brooke Fraser.
Her songwriting credits include congregational anthems such as "What a Beautiful Name," "King of Kings," and "Hosanna." She also contributed songs like "A Thousand Hallelujahs," "New Wine," and "Honey in the Rock." In 2018, she won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "What a Beautiful Name."
In recent years, Ligertwood has released solo worship albums, including SEVEN (2022) and EIGHT (2023). She resides in Southern California with her husband, Scott Ligertwood, and their two daughters.
