About Brandon Heath
Brandon Heath is an American contemporary Christian musician, singer, and songwriter born in Nashville, Tennessee. He began writing songs as a teenager after receiving a guitar as a Christmas gift at age thirteen, and he converted to Christianity around the same time after attending a Young Life camp. Heath released his major-label debut album, Don’t Get Comfortable, in 2006, and has since built a career marked by introspective, storytelling lyrics that explore themes of faith, forgiveness, and grace.
His studio discography includes What If We (2008), Leaving Eden (2011), Blue Mountain (2012), No Turning Back (2015), Faith Hope Love Repeat (2017), Enough Already (2022), and The Ache (2024). Among his better-known recordings are “I’m Not Who I Was,” “Give Me Your Eyes,” “Your Love,” “Jesus in Disguise,” “See Me Through It,” “No Turning Back,” “Whole Heart,” and “Wait and See.”
Heath’s work has earned recognition from the Gospel Music Association, winning the GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year in 2008. The following year, his song “Give Me Your Eyes” received GMA Dove Awards for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year; the track has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA. He also won a Dove Award for Christmas Album of the Year for Christmas Is Here in 2013. In 2014, Heath was named BMI’s Songwriter of the Year, and he has received multiple Grammy Award nominations throughout his career.
