Bahati Bukuku

Bahati Bukuku is a Tanzanian gospel singer and worship leader whose music is rooted in her Christian faith. She was born in October 1981 in the Rungwe District, Mbeya Region, Tanzania, and began her musical journey by performing in church choirs during her youth.

After completing secondary school, she relocated to Dar es Salaam to pursue her music career. Over more than two decades, she has become a veteran figure in East African gospel music, known for her storytelling style and lyrics that emphasize moral themes.

Her recorded songs include "Dunia Haina Huruma," "Yashinde Mapito," "Songa Mbele," "Maamuzi Yako," "Umewazidi Wote," "Nimesamehewa Dhambi," and "Heshima Ya Dhahabu." She also released an EP titled "Dawa Yangu." Beyond music, Bukuku has appeared as an actress in Christian-themed films, including "Teke la Mama" and "Nipo Studio," broadening her impact within the gospel arts community.
