About Alex Campos
Alex Campos is a Colombian singer-songwriter and minister recognized for his work in Latin Christian and gospel music. Born Édgar Alexánder Campos Mora on September 10, 1976, in Bogotá, Colombia, he began attending a local Christian church at age 12 and started his musical career at age 14. At 17, he formed the band Misión Vida, which he later developed into a ministry, and in 1998 he established his own record label, Misión Vida Records (MV Records).
Campos’s music is characterized by a fusion of Latin rhythms with contemporary Christian themes. His recorded catalog includes the albums Tiempo de la Cruz (1999), Al Taller del Maestro (2002), Como un Niño (2005), El Sonido del Silencio (2006), Cuidaré de Ti (2008), Lenguaje de Amor (2010), Regreso a Ti (2012), and Derroche de Amor (2015). He has toured extensively across Latin America and internationally.
His work has received multiple industry recognitions. Campos is a winner of three Latin Grammy Awards for Best Christian Album (Spanish Language), a recipient of one GMA Dove Award, and has earned eight Arpa Awards.
