Ufunuo wa neno la Bwana juu ya Israeli. Haya ndiyo asemayo Bwana, azitandaye mbingu, auwekaye msingi wa dunia, aiumbaye roho ya mwanadamu ndani yake. Zekaria 12:1	An oracle. The word of Yahweh concerning Israel. Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:
Angalia, mimi nitafanya Yerusalemu kuwa kikombe cha kuyumba-yumba kwa watu wa kabila zote, wazungukao pande zote; tena kitakuwa juu ya Yuda pia wakati wa kuhusuriwa Yerusalemu. Zekaria 12:2	"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and on Judah also will it be in the siege against Jerusalem.
Tena itakuwa siku hiyo, nitafanya Yerusalemu kuwa jiwe la kuwalemea watu wa kabila zote; wote watakaojitwika jiwe hilo watapata jeraha nyingi; na mataifa yote ya dunia watakusanyika pamoja juu yake. Zekaria 12:3	It will happen in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.
Katika siku hiyo, asema Bwana, nitamtia kila farasi ushangao, na yeye ampandaye nitamtia wazimu; nami nitaifunulia nyumba ya Yuda macho yangu, nami nitamtia upofu kila farasi wa hizo kabila za watu. Zekaria 12:4	In that day," says Yahweh, "I will strike every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
Na wakuu wa Yuda watasema mioyoni mwao, Wenyeji wa Yerusalemu ni nguvu zangu katika Bwana wa majeshi, Mungu wao. Zekaria 12:5	The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Yahweh of Hosts their God.'
Siku hiyo nitawafanya wakuu wa Yuda kuwa kama kigae chenye moto katika kuni, na kama kinga cha moto katika miganda; nao watateketeza watu wa kila kabila, wawazungukao pande zote, upande wa mkono wa kuume na upande wa mkono wa kushoto; na baada ya haya Yerusalemu utakaa mahali pake, naam, hapo Yerusalemu. Zekaria 12:6	In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.
Naye Bwana ataziokoa hema za Yuda kwanza, ili utukufu wa nyumba ya Daudi, na utukufu wa wenyeji wa Yerusalemu, usipate kutukuzwa kuliko Yuda. Zekaria 12:7	Yahweh also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.
Katika siku hiyo Bwana atawalinda wenyeji wa Yerusalemu; na yeye aliye dhaifu miongoni mwao atakuwa kama Daudi siku hiyo; nayo nyumba ya Daudi itakuwa kama Mungu, kama malaika wa Bwana mbele yao. Zekaria 12:8	In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of Yahweh before them.
Hata itakuwa siku hiyo, ya kwamba nitatafuta kuwaangamiza mataifa yote watakaokuja kupigana na Yerusalemu. Zekaria 12:9	It will happen in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Nami nitawamwagia watu wa nyumba ya Daudi, na wenyeji wa Yerusalemu, roho ya neema na kuomba; nao watamtazama yeye ambaye walimchoma; nao watamwombolezea, kama vile mtu amwombolezeavyo mwanawe wa pekee; nao wataona uchungu kwa ajili yake, kama vile mtu aonavyo uchungu kwa ajili ya mzaliwa wake wa kwanza. Zekaria 12:10	I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me{After "me," the Hebrew has the two letters "Aleph Tav" (the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet), not as a word, but as a grammatical marker.} whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.
Siku hiyo kutakuwa na maombolezo makuu huko Yerusalemu, kama maombolezo ya Hadadrimoni katika bonde la Megido. Zekaria 12:11	In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
Nayo nchi itaomboleza, kila jamaa peke yake; jamaa ya nyumba ya Daudi peke yao, na wake zao peke yao; jamaa ya nyumba ya Nathani peke yao, na wake zao peke yao; Zekaria 12:12	The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
jamaa ya nyumba ya Lawi peke yao, na wake zao peke yao; jamaa ya nyumba ya Shimei peke yao, na wake zao peke yao. Zekaria 12:13	the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;
Jamaa zote zilizosalia, kila jamaa peke yake, na wake zao peke yao. Zekaria 12:14	all the families who remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
