Jesus Is Born Today retells the Nativity as both fulfilled promise and present proclamation. The first verse moves from the prophets to Gabriel’s message, then to shepherds gathered around the child. Its chorus answers those scenes with repeated celebration, calling for the news of Jesus’ birth to be announced openly.
