I've got the life of God in me

Meaning & Inspiration
“Zoe” by Moses Bliss is a declaration built on the Greek word for life, used in the Bible for the life that comes from God. The verses say that being stranded, broken, sick, or helpless is not consistent with the life in the singer, and that “I’ve got the life of God in me.”
The line “I’m not ordinary, I live above the systems of the world” continues the claim, and the singer adds that when there is a casting down, there is a lifting up. The chorus repeats “Zoe, Zoe” and links the life of God to living in victory. The bridge says winning and victory are a lifestyle.
The ideas are close to John 10:10, where Jesus speaks of life abundantly, to Romans 8:11 on the Spirit giving life, and to 1 John 5:4 on overcoming the world. The song is energetic and repetitive, so a crowd can sing the statements together. Its message is confidence based on God’s life dwelling in the believer.
