Pour My Oil presents worship as a costly offering directed wholly to Jesus. The opening names him as first love and Savior, then links freedom to his sacrifice. Falling at his feet, fixing the eyes on him, and giving every last drop all convey undivided devotion. The image of poured oil recalls acts of honor in the Gospels, where a valuable offering at the feet of Jesus expressed reverence without regard for social pressure.
The repeated admission that the gift may seem small keeps the emphasis on surrender rather than display. Everything already belongs to God, yet the worshiper still brings it freely as an offering.
