Lyrics
We all want to feel accepted
And experience real love
When our own emotions try to convince us
That we'll never be good enough
No longer feeling like a mistake
Found by a grace that I can't escape (it's You)
Jesus it's You
Who understands the language of my tears
(When I can't speak about it)
The broken part of me that has been healed
'Cause you're working on me
If it's not real, remove it
No more favors
I don't need it
I'm so tired of all the lies
Will anyone go
The extra mile to
See this hurt that I had with a smile
(They have no idea)
No more excuses
No one to blame
I found a love that will never change
(I found what was missing)
Jesus it's You
Who understands the language of my tears
(The issues that still hurt to talk about)
The broken part of me that has been healed
(I see who really matters, Jesus it's You)
Jesus it's You (yes God)
Who understands the language of my tears
(You know the meaning behind every tear)
The broken parts of me that have been healed
(I thought I was alone but you isolated for intimacy)
All I want is more, more
Of You Jesus
(The more I'm with you
The more I never waanna leave your presence)
All I want is more (?) more
Of You Jesus
(My hands are lifted up
To the one who lifted me up)
All I want is more, more
Of You Jesus
You take the broken pieces
And make a beautiful masterpiece
All I want is more (more) more
Of You Jesus
(We won't be satisfied
And if I lose everything else, God, please)
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
(If I gain the whole world)
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
(But I don't have You)
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
(Your love sustains me)
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
(Your love pulls me through)
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
(You're a good Father)
Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away
(And I need You, I'm Yours)
All I want is more, more
Of You Jesus
(I'm not satisfied until I get more)
All I want is more, more
Of You Jesus
(Thank You)
All I want is more (Don't take your love away) more (Don't take your love away, love away)
Of You Jesus (Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away)
All I want is more (Don't take your love away) more (Don't take your love away, love away)
Of You Jesus (Don't take your love away
Don't take your love away, love away)

Meaning & Inspiration
“All I Want” centers on the security found in Jesus when acceptance, emotional pain, and human approval prove unreliable. The lyrics describe hidden hurt, tears that are difficult to explain, and broken places that have begun to heal. Against that vulnerability, Jesus is presented as the one who understands every tear and offers a love that does not change. The repeated desire for more of his presence makes worship, rather than status or favor, the song’s defining response.
Its imagery closely aligns with Psalm 56:8, which portrays God as attentive to tears and suffering. The plea not to lose divine love also recalls Romans 8:38-39, where nothing in creation can separate believers from the love of God in Christ. As the song moves from isolation toward dependence, healing is described as ongoing rather than effortless. That tension gives the refrain weight: the singer’s deepest need is not public validation, but continuing nearness to Jesus and confidence in sustaining love.
