Verse 1

Verse 2

Tu gracia y favor conmigo puedo ver
Saturando mi ser Bendito Jesus
Y hoy mi voluntad se rinde a tu verdad
Tu amor y tu bondad Bendito Jesus

Chorus (Repeat)

Meaning & Inspiration

“Bendito Jesus” (Blessed Jesus) by Danilo Montero is a Spanish worship song of trust and surrender. The first verse says the singer’s cry is for Jesus, that he can trust him without fear, and that he hears a voice of healing that restores his being. The chorus calls Jesus his desire, his moment of love, and the joy of living, as well as “fuente de amor” (source of love), air, sun, and the beat of the heart.

The second verse speaks of seeing grace and favor filling the singer, and of the will yielding to truth, love, and goodness. The repeated line “Bendito amor de mi Señor” (Blessed love of my Lord) closes each section as a refrain of praise.

The healing and restoring voice is close to Psalm 147:3, the source image recalls Psalm 36:9, and the surrender of the will echoes Luke 22:42. The song is tender, personal, and built on repetition for congregational worship.
