Bernice Ansah's "Who Has the Final Say" opens with a question it immediately answers: Jehovah has the final say. The verse that follows credits him with turning circumstances around and making a way where none seemed possible, language that recalls the assurance in Isaiah 43:19 of a road opening in the wilderness. Repetition carries the argument - the chorus states its claim twice each time, as if settling the matter by saying it plainly rather than arguing for it.
