About Vicky Beeching

Vicky Beeching is a contemporary Christian worship leader and songwriter known for her work in the Christian music industry. She was born Victoria Louise Beeching on 17 July 1979 in Canterbury, Kent, England. She began writing songs at age 10 and leading worship in church youth services in her early teens. Beeching went on to study theology at Oxford University.

From 1997 to 2001, she was involved with Oxford Vineyard Church, where she led worship. She then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, around 2002 to pursue a career in worship music. Beeching signed with Sparrow Records and released several studio albums, including Yesterday, Today & Forever (2005) and Painting the Invisible (2007). Her earlier EPs include Shelter (2002) and The Journey (2005), and she later released the album Eternity Invades (2010). Her song catalog includes tracks such as “Search Me O God,” “There’s No One Like Our God,” and “Glory To God Forever.”

From 2010 to 2012, Beeching served as a worship leader at the Spring Harvest Christian festival in the United Kingdom. In 2014, she publicly announced that she is a lesbian. She later published a memoir titled Undivided in 2018, which discusses her faith and sexuality. In more recent years, Beeching has faced significant health challenges, including autoimmune conditions, which led her to stop working in 2020.
