The Young Escape

The Young Escape is a Christian electronic/indie pop band from Southern California. The group is composed of four siblings: Ryan, McKenna, Kyrsten, and Luke Johns. The band signed with Capitol Christian Music Group in 2017. The members write, produce, and perform their own music.

The band's music often addresses themes such as insecurity, anxiety, and pressure, while offering a message of hope. The group has toured nationally with artists including Crowder and Jordan Feliz. The band members grew up attending Christian music festivals and cite artists like TobyMac and Audio Adrenaline as influences.

The Young Escape released songs including "Good Life," "Love Me Like You," "So Alive," "neverfade," "Older," "Worship You There," "Landslide," and "Because Of God" featuring Tenth Avenue North. "Good Life" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot AC/CHR chart in March 2018. "Love Me Like You" reached No. 1 on the same chart in February 2019. "So Alive" reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot AC/CHR chart in 2020.
