The Response Band

The Response Band formed in Austin, Texas, in 2009, emerging from a next-generation worship movement in the city. The group’s mission is to serve worship leaders around the world by creating resources for worship services.

The band has partnered with various ministries, conferences, churches, youth groups, festivals, and camps. They participated in a worship tour with the African Children’s Choir in Uganda. The Response Band won Creation Fest’s Indie Talent Search and has performed at venues including House of Blues and Austin City Limits Live.

The group’s recorded catalog includes the 2010 EP With One Voice, the 2017 release Floodgates, and the singles “Anchor” (2020) and “Highlands (Song of Ascent) [Live]” (2020). Additional songs in their catalog include “When I Am Weak,” “Grace Greater,” and “Faithful.”
