About The Isaacs
The Isaacs are a family music group based in Hendersonville, Tennessee, that originated in 1971. The group consists of mother Lily Isaacs and her children Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary, and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. Their musical style blends bluegrass, Southern gospel, country, and acoustic influences. The group was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2020 and was officially inducted as members of the Grand Ole Opry on September 14, 2021. They have performed at venues including Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry.
The Isaacs have released a number of albums, including Songs for the Times, Nature’s Symphony in 432, The American Face, Praise & Worship: More Than a Hollow Hallelujah, Live From Norway, and Stand Still. Their singles include “Goodness of God” and “(More Than a) Hollow Hallelujah.” The group has won 19 GMA Dove Awards and has received multiple Grammy Award nominations for Best Roots Gospel Album.
Beyond their music, the group operates a non-profit organization called The Isaacs Foundation to support the less fortunate. They also established the Fishman Isaacs Israel Initiative to support Holocaust survivors, orphans, and Israeli soldiers.
