The Crabb Family is a Southern Gospel group originally formed in 1996 in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. The group was founded by Gerald Crabb and his wife, Kathy Crabb, and original members included siblings Jason, Adam, Aaron, Kelly, and Terah Crabb. Their musical style blends Southern Gospel with country and other genres.
The group has recorded several well-known songs, including “Please Forgive Me,” “Through the Fire,” “The Lamb, the Lion, and the King,” “The Cross,” “The Walk,” and “I See Revival.” They released the album Together Again in 2012 and later 20/20 in 2020. The Crabb Family has achieved 16 number one songs on national radio charts.
The Crabb Family has received three Grammy Award nominations and has won 11 GMA Dove Awards. They have performed at venues including the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall, and the Brooklyn Tabernacle.
In 2007, the group transitioned into individual ministries before reuniting for tours and new recordings in later years. Members of the family have pursued solo careers and other musical projects, including involvement with the Gaither Vocal Band and the duo Aaron & Amanda Crabb.
