About Stars Go Dim
Stars Go Dim is the Christian pop project and moniker of singer and songwriter Chris Cleveland. The project was originally formed in 2007 as a mainstream pop rock band in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and began as a side project of the Christian rock band Pillar. Over the years, the effort transitioned into a solo vehicle for Cleveland, who signed with Fervent Records, an imprint of Word Records.
Before pursuing his solo career, Chris Cleveland served as a worship leader at Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa for more than a decade. As Stars Go Dim, he released the self-titled album Stars Go Dim in 2015, followed by Grace In The Wilderness in 2022 and Roses in 2025. His catalog includes singles such as “You Are Loved,” “Yes He Does,” “Heaven On Earth,” “Authority (In The Name of Jesus),” and “Mama Don’t Lie (Alright).”
The artist has earned multiple number‑one and Top 5 hits on Christian radio. “You Are Loved” reached No. 1 on Christian radio, while “Yes He Does” climbed to No. 1 on international radio. In 2016, Stars Go Dim was nominated for a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.
