Pastor Solly Mahlangu was born in South Africa, Johannesburg in 1971. He was raised by a single mother, got saved at an early age and received his calling at an early age. He started ministering in song as early as age 10 years. He grew up in Johannesburg, and got married to his lovely wife Khosi Mahlangu for 18 years and they have three lovely daughters, namely Thando, Amani .
Pastor Solly Mahlangu served in ministry for over 20 years, as a worship leader and music director and ended up as a national music director at Victory Fellowship Church under the leadership of Dr M.A. Maphalala. He travelled extensively in the continent of Africa; training worship leaders and worshipers in the country.
He became a professional recording artist since 1991, with 4 albums under his sleeve.
He established and founded a church in Johannesburg Tembisa called Word Praise Christian Centre International, which has become one of the fastest growing churches in the area. He is currently pastoring with his wife the above mentioned church. He is also enjoying in this season
The top Gospel artist status in the country with his live DVD and CD recording Obrigado and Mwamba Mwamba, which have reached phenomenal strides in the gospel industry.
