About Sanctus Real
Sanctus Real is an American Christian rock band formed in Toledo, Ohio, in 1996. The current lineup consists of Dustin Lolli (lead vocals), Chris Rohman (guitar), and Mark Graalman (drums). Co-founder and original lead vocalist Matt Hammitt departed the band in 2016.
The group released their major label debut, Say It Loud, through Sparrow Records in 2002. Their musical style has evolved from power pop to a more melodic, guitar-driven alternative rock sound. Over the years, the band has released several albums, including Fight the Tide (2004) and The Face of Love (2006). Notable singles in their catalog include “Lead Me,” “I’m Not Alright,” “Confidence,” and “My God Is Still the Same.”
Sanctus Real has received multiple No. 1 singles on Christian radio formats. The band won a GMA Dove Award for Modern Rock Album of the Year for Fight the Tide in 2005 and has earned two Grammy Award nominations. The single “Confidence” is certified RIAA Platinum, while “My God Is Still the Same” is certified RIAA Gold. The band has transitioned to releasing music independently through their own label, Framework Records, and their most recent album, All Along, was released in 2024.
