About Ryan Stevenson
Ryan Stevenson is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter signed to Gotee Records. Born on January 21, 1979, in Bonanza, Oregon, he grew up in the church and was exposed to hymns at an early age. He attended Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon. Before pursuing music full-time, Stevenson worked as a paramedic for several years.
Stevenson signed an exclusive recording agreement with Gotee Records in 2013 and released his debut EP, Holding Nothing Back, that same year. He followed with the album Fresh Start in 2015, which included the single “Eye of the Storm.” That song earned him a GMA Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year in 2017 and received RIAA Gold certification. Stevenson also co-wrote the song “Speak Life” for TobyMac, which received a Grammy Award nomination.
Stevenson released the album No Matter What in 2018 and Wildest Dreams in 2020. His catalog includes singles such as “The Gospel,” “Amadeo (Still My God),” and “When We Fall Apart.” Through his work as an artist and co-writer, he has achieved six number one Billboard charting radio singles.
Stevenson is also the author of the book Eye of the Storm: Experiencing God When You Can’t See Him and hosts the podcast Weathering the Storm on K-LOVE’s AccessMore. His experiences as a paramedic and his faith have shaped his music and ministry.
