I grew up in a small, rural town in southern Oregon. My dad was a rancher, my mom a farmer's daughter. By the grace of God, as I grew up, they instilled in me a heart to know and experience friendship with God. Music for me is simply a vehicle to facilitate an encounter with the presence of God. A melody is a platform to declare the knowledge of who He is. It is my hope that every song I write serves to not only encourage the listener, but to stir their heart with fresh passion and affection for God. That for me is what this is all about.
