About Rachael Lampa
Rachael Lampa is a contemporary Christian singer and songwriter. She was born Rachael Maureen Lampa on January 8, 1985, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was raised in Louisville, Colorado. At age fourteen, she signed with Word Records and released her debut album, Live for You, in 2000.
Lampa gained early recognition for her music. Her single “Blessed” earned her a GMA Dove Award for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year in 2001. She followed with the album Kaleidoscope in 2002 and later released All We Need in 2011. During this period, she appeared on national television programs including The Tonight Show and The View.
After a career hiatus, Lampa returned to music with the 2023 single “Perfectly Loved,” featuring TobyMac. The song won the K-LOVE Fan Award for Breakout Single of the Year. Other singles in her catalog include “Shaken” and “Somebody to You.” Alongside her music, Lampa co-founded the Nashville-based nonprofit People Loving Nashville, which serves individuals experiencing homelessness and incarceration. She also participated in the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off as a member of the group The Collective and has worked as a background vocalist for artists including Jordin Sparks and Hozier. In 2025, she released the album Superpowers.
