About Preye Odede
Preye Odede is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and minister. He was born Oyinkepreye Odede on June 16, 1990, in Nigeria and is based in Port Harcourt. He holds a degree in Microbiology from Abia State University, Uturu.
His musical foundation was built in church, starting with the children’s choir and later playing the drums. During his university years, he was a member of the a cappella group “Born to Praise” and also sang with the Casor Reconciliation Choir at Abia State University.
Preye Odede launched his professional career with his debut album, “My Script,” in 2012. He is the founder of the record label Script Music. His catalog includes well-known songs such as “Ebezina,” “Bulie,” “Oshimiri Atata,” “Idi Ebube,” “Okaka,” “For My Good,” and the albums “No Restriction” and “Ready.”
He received the Best Gospel Music Video award at the Best of African Gospel Music Awards held in Atlanta, USA.
