About Mitch Wong
Mitch Wong is an Australian-born songwriter and worship leader whose music spans from energetic praise to intimate, psalm-like worship. He began writing songs as a teenager, and his career has since taken him from his native Australia to Nashville, Tennessee, where he now lives with his wife, Steph. Wong is a GRAMMY® award-winning songwriter.
Before stepping out as a solo artist, Wong built a reputation as a prolific writer. He served as a staff writer for Integrity Music and has songwriting credits alongside some of the most prominent voices in modern worship, including CeCe Winans, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Brooke Ligertwood. His collaborative work includes credits on songs such as “Believe For It” and “Honey In The Rock.”
Wong has also released his own projects that reflect both sides of his musical personality. His album a beautiful ending, a blessed beginning and the full-length IT NEEDS TO BE SAID have been joined by singles including “Burial” and “Bloom.” Through each release, he continues to create music designed to serve the Church.
