About Misty Edwards
Misty Edwards is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader. She was born on January 19, 1979, in Andrews, Texas. Her career began at age nineteen when she became an intern at the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC) in Kansas City, Missouri. She has since served as a worship leader and staff member at IHOPKC, contributing to the ministry’s model of continuous prayer and worship.
Edwards’ music is released through the Forerunner Music label. Her sound incorporates elements of folk, alternative rock, and worship music. She has released multiple studio albums, including Eternity (2003), Always on His Mind (2005), Relentless (2007), Fling Wide (2009), and Only a Shadow (2013). She also released an EP titled Measure of Love (2011) and the album Little Bird (2014).
