Mairo Ese

Oghenemairo Okechukwu Ese, known as Mairo Ese, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Born on 27 May 1982, he accepted Christ as a teenager and discovered his passion for music in secondary school. He has served as a worship leader and music director in various churches, including the Redeemed Christian Church of God and This Present House.

Mairo Ese released his debut album, Worship of Yahweh, in 2015. His sophomore album, Spirit and Life, followed in 2020. His recorded songs include “Nani Gi,” “You Are The Reason,” “The Only God,” “Everlasting,” and “Eternal God,” a collaboration with Prospa Ochimana.

He is known for leading worship in multiple languages, among them English, Isoko, Yoruba, Igbo, Pidgin English, and Swahili. He also founded “Revelatory Worship,” a platform for worship sessions and mentorship. Mairo Ese is married to Ayo Mairo-Ese.
