Mairo Ese (full name Oghenemairo Ese) is a Nigerian -born Gospel singer.
He is known for popular songs such as Nani Gi and Ole Halleluyah (from his Worship of Yahweh debut album). Ole Halleluyah features Nathaniel Bassey and was released as a Single from his debut album. Other songs include We Praise You (2005), I Need You, Gbagaun Gbagaun and Iye Iye.
Mairo started singing professionally in 2008 and has carved a niche for himself in Gospel music; songs of worship in particular. With numerous invitations to sing/minister Home (Nigeria) and abroad, his desire is to lift up the name of Jesus, bringing people closer to their Creator.
In the course of his music career, Mairo has shared the stage with Ron Kenoly, Lionel Pietersen, Cobhams Asuquo, Nathaniel Bassey, Lara George, amongst many others.
He got engaged to award-winning TV / Radio Presenter Ayo Thompson in May 2017.
The pair got married in November 2017 with the hashtag #SliceofHeaven 17.
