About Lincoln Brewster
Lincoln Brewster is a contemporary Christian musician, songwriter, and worship pastor known for blending rock-infused guitar styles with worship music. He was born on July 30, 1971, in Fairbanks, Alaska, and began his musical journey in childhood, playing drums and mandolin before mastering the guitar. In his late teens, he moved to Modesto, California, where he participated in high school jazz and marching bands.
Brewster’s early career took a secular turn when he toured as a guitarist with Steve Perry (formerly of Journey) from 1994 to 1995. After embracing his religious faith, he transitioned to a career in ministry and contemporary Christian music. He signed with Integrity Music in the late 1990s and released his self-titled debut album in 1999. He went on to serve as a worship pastor at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, California, for over two decades.
Brewster’s discography includes Lincoln Brewster (1999), Live to Worship (2000), Today Is the Day (2008), Real Life (2010), Oxygen (2014), God of the Impossible (2018), A Mostly Acoustic Christmas (2019), and Perfect Love (2021). His album Today Is the Day reached No. 2 on the Billboard Christian charts, and God of the Impossible peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
